Terri Merryman

Headshot of Terri MerrymanShe’s ducked rifle fire, lived in an Israeli colony, and moved into a Russian village to get important interviews.

She’s interviewed subjects as volatile as Shimon Peres, and Newt Gingrich, and as gentle as Lena Horne and Nancy Reagan.

But what really makes Terri Merryman’s award winning interview style compelling is her gift for listening and asking the questions that get to the heart of the story.

Her career has put her in the roles of news anchor and reporter in Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Miami, Atlanta, Nashville and New York for NBC’s syndicated morning program Real Life. Her television talk show Soulmates, featured interviews with the husbands and wives of country music’s biggest stars. Her work behind the camera included a brief stint as an associate producer for the top rated Survivor Reunion reality show. She’s anchored via satellite while on assignment overseas, and made headlines for the live coverage that put her in harm’s way during the Miami riots, and the Philadelphia MOVE confrontation.

Following her strong belief that everyone has an interesting story to share, Terri has easily made the transition from her award-winning career in television news, to writing those stories for people who are making a difference.

When she isn’t working on a biography, Terri serves as media coach to business executives, athletes and law enforcement personnel; helping them communicate more effectively on television and within the new media.
